Emmy nominated actor and director Malcolm Jamal Warner, who played Theo on NBC’s longest running sitcom ever ‘The Cosby Show,’ and who miraculously avoided all the pitfalls that Hollywood has to offer child stars, will be appearing on ‘Community’ and playing opposite the very funny Yvette Nicole Brown. The very private Warner, who is also a musician and fronts jazz band Miles Long, has been dating movie actress Regina King since 2008 and most recently found the rumor mill chatting about the two maybe taking their ‘special’ relationship to the next level. On a press call recently with Malcolm and Yvette, Yvette talked about  her excitement, enthusiasm and praise about working with the multi-talented showbiz artist, as well as discussing her adulation of women sitcom stars who set the bar really high before her including B Arthur, Carol Burnett and Phylicia Rashad. On these women she said, “they could walk on set and command the scene and the room in one look. And I love that.” Malcolm, whose episode on ‘Community’ airs Thursday, January 20th at 8pm ET, which coincidentally is the same time slot ‘The Cosby Show’ aired, had some great advice to up and coming actors. “Keep your soul intact, because that’s the first thing that can get compromised.” Malcolm Jamal Warner, great advice from a great actor and more importantly a great man.
