The way chic Crosby Street Hotel known for its Hollywood movie screening soirees, is introducing a film series to its hotel and it begins tonight with author Paul Auster. ‘Under The Influence: Writers on Film’ will bring some of the world’s top literary figures to the gorgeous 100 seat screening room at NYC’s Crosby Street Hotel, where each writer will introduce a film that has influenced their work followed by a screening, discussion and cocktails. Paul Auster, (pictured left) will introduce William Wyler’s 1946 film ‘The Best Year’s of Our Lives,’ which features the storyline of his latest novel, “Sunset Park.” Very cool, for more info click here. r
