The superlative Jeremy Irons who has won just about every award possible in show business and some twice, will be making his American Television debut by guest starring on NBC’s amazing ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Wednesday, January 12th at 10pm ET. Irons spoke to us reporters recently on the phone from England where he has a home as well as in Ireland, and said he decided to do the show because, “it’s so popular with a wide variety of my friends, and they say it’s fantastic and they always watch it.” The accomplished actor had everyone on set loving working with him including Chris Meloni who kept texting executive producer Neal Baer throughout filming to say ‘I Love Jeremy Irons!” The critically acclaimed pro who is one of the best in the business will be playing a sex therapist that according to Irons is, “a multi-dimensional character that’s enigmatic and mysterious.” When asked what advice he has for up and coming actors Jeremy said, “Don’t give up or as they say in England, soldier on.” Don’t miss out on this special ‘Law & Order: SVU.’
