Did you ever wish that you could get a delicious, state-of-the-art cup of coffee or espresso while exploring the art collections of some of America’s most renowned 20th and 21st century artists? Well, your wish just got fulfilled because Danny Meyer of Union Square Hospitality Group who already brings us about a dozen of NYC’s best restaurants, brought the first ever coffee cart to the Upper East Side’s Whitney Museum of American Art. The cart features Stumptown coffee and pastries exclusively, and is served only in  the La Marzocca Strada machine making its NY debut and costing roughly $18,000. And that’s not all, it was driven by employees across country direct from the Portland, Oregon headquarters to ensure its safety. Yes, I had to read the press release twice to make sure I read it right. The museum’s full service cafe is under renovations as Meyer is  bringing a full cafe to the museum as well. Believe it or not, prices for this delicious coffee are reasonable.
