The buzz has begun at Variety.com and names are starting to fly around as to who may or may not get a chance at Oscar. The reliable Leo DiCaprio took the lead in two of the year’s biggest films: Scorsese’s thriller ‘Shutter Island’ and Christopher Nolan’s trippy ‘Inception.’ Robert Duvall apparently had a huge moment in indie film ‘Get Low’ which critics noticed and he did it in one take. Many think Jessie Eisenberg has channeled Mark Zuckerberg, in the Facebook film ‘The Social Network,’ and the races haven’t stopped regarding underrated actor Colin Firth’s intense and spot on performance in ‘The King’s Speech.’ Others garnering attention include Aaron Eckhart in ‘Rabbit Hole,’ Javier Bardem for ‘Biutiful,’ Jeff Bridges in ‘True Grit’ and Mark Wahlberg in ‘The Fighter.’
