Hollywood kid Gia Mantegna, who stars on the TeenNick series ‘Gigantic’ and who also happens to be the daughter of actor Joe Mantegna, will claim the crown of Miss Golden Globe 2011, Variety just reported. Traditionally, the honoree is the daughter (or son) of a celebrity. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the Mantegna selection last Thursday for the role of on-stage assistant at the upcoming 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards show being hosted again by multi- talent Ricky Gervais. Mantegna, isn’t the only Hollywood kid that stars on the Nickelodeon series. Meryl Streep’s daughter Grace Gummer is her co-star. Past Miss Globe’s have included Rumer Willis and Lorraine Nicholson.
