Sprinkles Cupcakes- pure, delicious and scratch-baked with love, is moving in to 780 Lexington Ave in the East 60’s where Gino’s Italian restaurant had been for what seemed like an eternity. Gino’s, who had to close up after many years of serving all of NY’s elite due to increased rents and the fallen economy, will be replaced by sweet cupcake shop Sprinkles in Feb of next year. Sprinkles, which first debuted in ritzy Beverly Hills, CA, now has about 9 stores in various states and by next year will grow even more by adding about ten more states to the list.
