The New York City Police Museum downtown is honoring members of the New York City Police Department who died from health related issues stemming from their work from the September 11th terrorists attacks, by displaying the badges of those heroic 29 cops. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly is pushing for the Senate to pass the Zadroga 9/11 health bill to provide health care and compensation to first responders and survivors of the terrorist attacks, by eventually displaying the shields in the Russell Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill which will undoubtedly send the very important message to the Senators. Pictured here at yesterday’s Museum unveiling are NY’s top cop Commissioner Ray Kelly with Sharon Weintraub, sister of one of 9/11’s fallen heroes, police officer Ronald Weintraub.
