Kenmare partners Nur Khan and Paul Sevigny have taken over the once legendary rock and roll grunge club Don Hill’s on Greenwich and Spring. Apparently, they’ll do minor renovations and use their major connections to bring that magic back to the once happenin’ and rockin’ local music den that was the place to be and be seen back in the day. Originally opened in the early 90’s by Cat Club co-owner Don Hill, everyone from show biz VIP’s, to sports stars (Shaq) and of course music’s rock ’n’ rollers, hung out and performed including Courtney Love, who recently returned and gave an insanely awesome performance during fashion week to a packed and screaming hip crowd. http://acidstars.org/nd/2010/09/september-11-hole-performs-at-don-hills-in-new-york-city-new-york/ Expect that old black magic to come back with long lines especially on weekends. Whether they let you in or not is another story. www.donhills.com
