Carnegie Hall looks to be taking notes out of American Idol’s songbook, well kind of, but not really. Parents, if your kid is musically talented, here is a chance to get things going. The famed and prestigious music hall just announced a new contest ‘Big Break,’ an online competition looking for the best young musicians in America. Winners will perform on NPR’s ‘From the Top’ national radio broadcast and at Carnegie Hall’s Family Concert in NYC next Spring.
