The cult hero abandoned his successful medical practice for a professional surfing career and hit the road in a camper with his nine children for a different type of lifestyle. He later founded the first surf camp in the US. Along with Penn, Alan and Gabe Polsky, who had success with ‘Bad Lientenant’ are attached as producers, and are also the sons of energy magnate Michael Polsky. The eccentric Paskowitz, now 89 years old, who has avoided optioning the rights to other producers through the years like Matt Weaver and Graydon Carter of Vanity Fair and Waverly Inn fame, is said to be thrilled that Sean Penn is attached.
