Any skirt that would have the moxie to call out bad boy Sean Penn on his deep dislike for journalists belongs at Page Six. So it’s no surprise that Tara Palmeri, who did just that, is headed right to New York to join the New York Post. A gossip writer for the Washington Examiner, Palmeri will take over for Neel Shah, who is moving to Hollywood to write for TV and who made a brief appearance on MTV’s ‘The City.’ She told Fishbowl/DC, a sister site to Mediabistro.com, “I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to discover my love for gossip reporting at the Examiner, but New York is calling.” Wait until she sees who else is calling.
