Art & Music collide once again. MOMA on West 53rd St has a live music series called Summergarden Concerts that takes place at the museums Sculpture Garden for four Sunday evenings beginning July 11th. Summergarden, a tradition that started in 1971, is part of MOMA’s long history of presenting jazz, classical and new music concerts in an outdoor setting. Musicians selected to perform are from the Julliard School and by groups selected by Jazz at Lincoln Center. Admission is free, Sculpture Garden opens at 7p and concerts begin at 8p. Also, if you just want to see incredible art for free, MOMA is free year- round on Friday nights from 4-8p. www.moma.org
