Martin and Jean Shafiroff hosted a Thanksgiving Toy Drive for the NYC Mission Society at their Park Avenue home with over 100 guests including, NYC Mission Society Director Elsie McCabe Thompson, Margo and John Catsimatidis, New York State Assembly Member Rebecca A. Seawright, Malan Breton, Margo Langenberg, Kenita Lloyd, Geoffrey Bradfield, Liliana Cavendish, and Victor de Souza, enjoying champagne and canapes with the philanthropist and her financier husband.
Midway through the evening, Shafiroff spoke about how much she cared for the Society and how much of a family they are.
Additional guests including, William Anthony Allen, Darold Cuba, Yaz and Valentine Hernadez, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Joan and George Hornig, Roy Kean, Judge Jonathan Le Winter, Barbara and Ken Poliwoda, Ann Rapp, Randi Schatz, Bishop Andrew St. John, Felicia Taylor, and Rita Cosby helped donate over 200 presents to children in need.
