Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took time out from the G20 Summit in Germany to talk gender equality at the Global Citizen Festival in Barclaycard Arena.
The 45-year old Canadian politician and wife Sophie addressed the massive audience there to support and see performing artists Chris Martin, Shakira, Ellie Goulding and Pharrell Williams.
Trudeau introduced Coldplay, longtime supporters of the organization, and spoke about the fight for “fairness and equality” in every global issue beginning with the empowerment of women and girls in every social and political circumstance.
