New York Times bestselling author Michael Gross is due to launch his latest masterpiece FOCUS: The Secret, Sexy, Sometimes Sordid World of Fashion Photographers on July 5, and was feted by a glamorous combo of New York society, models, photographers, and moguls.

Nearly 200 guests—including Super Model Frederique van der Wal,  Tiffany Dubin, Henry and Edward Lambert, Roy Stillman, Debbie Bancroft, Nina Griscom, Peter Davis, Nicole Miller, Barry Kieselstein-Cord, Felicia Taylor, Suzanne Donahue, Lauren Ezersky, Patrick McDonald, Julie Dannenberg, and Arthur Wayne–came together for the lavish party held on the pediment terraces of Penthouse A at The Schumacher No36 Bleecker Street.

Also there, New York power brokers John Gomes and Bravo’s Fredrik Eklund, who were pushing the new digs and describing them as “the sexiest penthouse in New York”.

As one of America’s most provocative non-fiction writers, Gross is the author of the New York Times bestsellers House of Outrageous Fortune, 740 Park and Model, as well as Rogues’ Gallery and My Generation. He is also a Contributing Editor of Departures and his journalism has appeared in The New York TimesNew YorkVanity Fair, Esquire, GQ and many other publications.
