Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, both Grammy winners, opened Bright Star on Broadway last week followed by an after-party at Gotham Hall
The new musical based on an article that Brickell found, tells the story of love and redemption, set against the rich backdrop of the America South in he 1920’s and 40’s.
After the play ended, the two musicians took to the stage with a surprise performance.
Martin and Brickell both lovers of musical theater, have already recorded two albums together, but “Bright Star” is their first musical.
