TBar Steak & Lounge

It’s not often that a New York City restaurant and lounge lasts for years and years. So, its nothing short of amazing that TBar Steak & Lounge is still a go-to-spot for fabulous food and fun.

Whether its a delicious dinner with friends and family you’re looking for, or a lounge and bar experience to meet and greet whomever, TBar’s got it.

Since owner Tony Fortuna turned his 20-year owned space into TBar back in 2007, the upscale upper-east-sider has remained a hip scene on the corner of 73rd and 3rd Avenue.

Executive Chef Ben Zwicker, previously of the Four Seasons, Aureole and Petrossian, puts his unique twist onto classic dishes like Angel Chicken Wings with a Tamarind Glaze, Guacamole to split with the table, and his redefined classic Kale Salad with mouth-watering apple and sesame drizzled with chili-lime vinaigrette.

And of course we can’t forget the superbly-cooked Certified Black Angus Cuts of beef including the Black Angus Porterhouse for two served with your choice of Steak Sauce, Béarnaise or Poivre Sauce.

Cap the evening off with irresistible desserts like the must-have Banana Parfait Mille Feuilles, with coconut and caramel sauce or the decadent Chocolate Sundae served with brownie, chocolate sauce and cream.

Fortuna says there is no magic formula to achieve this sort of long-running success. “I think guests trust our kitchen and love our relaxed but vibrant atmosphere.”

I’ve had many magical nights there.

Go.
