A wild depiction of the 70’s rock scene that most of us only dream of? I mean, I was in the music business years later and it too was a wild ride, but nothing compared to what my predecessors told me.

This is our chance to seize and feel the moment.

Emmy winning Bobby Cannavale stars as Richie Finestra, the founder and president of American Century Records, trying to save his company and soul without destroying everyone in his path.

Along with Cannavale, SAG Award nominee Olivia Wilde plays his wife a former actress/model, and TV legend and multiple Emmy winner Ray Romano, stars as Richie’s confidant, partner and head of promotions.

Wow.

Created by Mick Jagger, Martin Scorsese, Rich Cohen, and Terrence Winter, VINYL is a ride through the sex-and drug-addled music business of the 1970’s New York at the dawn of punk, disco and hip-hop.

The ten-episode drama kicks off Sunday, February 14 9-11pm ET, followed by hour-long episodes debuting subsequent Sunday’s at the same time.

Mick Jagger is executive producer on the soundtrack and the pilot is directed by Scorsese.
