SALT-PEPA ARE SHAKING IT UP!
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) hosted their 7th Annual “Women Behind The Music” series at Subrosa and honored superstars Salt-N-Pepa.
This year’s one-city series, which encourages and recognizes women in the music community, honored the trailblazing and GRAMMY Award-Wining rap group for their 30-year career and accomplishments within the music business.
The evening featured musical sounds by DJ Quiana Parks and a special performance of hit single “Shoop” by Salt-N-Pepa themselves.
ASCAP’s EVP Membership John Titta and VP Membership, Rhythm & Soul Nicole George-Middleton were also in attendance and presented Salt-N-Pepa with honorary plaques for their monumental contributions to the music community.
The intimate evening offered sponsored pours of BelAire Rose.
