Kick Kennedy, Morgan O’Connor & Consuelo Vanderblit Costin Launch Symrise Studio
It was a packed New York house at the launch of Symrise’s NY studio hosted by Kick Kennedy, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin and Ralph Lauren model, Morgan O’Connor.
As the third largest fragrance company in the world, Symrise has created fragrances for brands including Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, Donna Karan and Victoria’s Secret.
Environmentalist Kick Kennedy, along with Morgan O’Connor, and HSN’s Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin hosted the opening at the gorgeous new studio on Park Avenue where it was announced that Kennedy will join Symrise on a perfumer’s trek to Madagascar to identify unique new sustainable fragrance raw materials.
It was also announced that a fragrance was created for Morgan O’Connor inspired by his philanthropic organization Sailing Heals.
Rhona Stokols V.P. Fine Fragrance in North America, spoke about Symrise’s “exciting collaborations in the worlds of fashion, entertainment and sustainability with their partnerships” including those with Kick, Consuelo and Morgan.
Guests enjoying cocktails and passed hors-d-oeuvres included The Real Housewives of New York‘s Dorinda Medley with her daughter Hannah, Estee Lauder’s Daniel Annese, Ann Gottlieb, Marc Rosen and Pamela Vaile; perfumers including Emilie Coppermann and David Apel, Skein’s Jeff An and Robert Christiansen, Robin Cofer, DJ Etienne DeYans, model/actress Anastasia Garvey, writer David Goodwillie, R. Couri Hay, Lucia Hwong Gordon, actor Caleb James, Christine and George Ledes, Whitney Kimball Long, Dr. Kenneth Mark, Louise Masano, Nicole Noonan, Leesa Rowland, actress Cassandra Seidenfeld, Skicks Sneaker Company’s Meryl Schrager, Tom Shaffer and Isabelle Vacheret and philanthropists Pamela O’Connor and Jean Shafiroff in a stunning blue gown.
