The 5th annual The Lower East Side Film Festival kicks off, June 11 to June 21, in New York City’s Lower East Side. Tickets are now available at www.lesfilmfestival.com.
The LESFF will be showcasing the best and brightest in low-budget filmmaking from around the globe in all categories: features, shorts, documentaries, experimental, foreign, animation, and music videos. 4 World premieres, 2 North American Premieres, 3 US premieres, 11 New York premieres, and more than 35 motion pictures as well as their first ever Lasagna Night – Filmmaker Reception. Yes, you read that correctly.
The 2015 stellar judges panel currently includes: LAVERNE COX PARKEY POSEY, RACHAEL HOROVITZ, MICHAEL TRIM, BEACH BOY MIKE LOVE and JACOB BLACKSTOCK.
Screenings will be at the famous Landmark Sunshine Cinema, Anthology Film Archives, Crosby St. Hotel, Village East Cinemas, Sixty LES, and other downtown venues.
Pool Party, Secret Beer Garden, Mind F*ck Night, Panels, Ladies Night, Closing Night, and Opening Night Parties are all on the schedule as well.
