Deitlinde Turban Maazel and Daisy Soros will host an Evening of Music to honor the legacy of Maestro Lorin Maazel and benefit the 2015 Castleton Festival on May 13th, at the Metropolitan Club in New York City.
Alec Baldwin, Lang Lang, Sherrill Milnes, Vale Rideout, and some of the rising stars of the Castleton Festival will join in the celebration, which begins at 6:30, with a buffet supper to follow.
All the proceeds from the event will benefit the Castleton Festival, founded by Maestro Maazel and Dietlinde Turban Maazel, which brings renowned artists and rising stars together for a summer of performances and tutelage in Rappahannock County, Virginia.
