todayMORE magazine and SHAPE magazine hosted the 12th Annual MORE/FITNESS/SHAPE Women’s Half-Marathon last Sunday in partnership with the New York Road Runners (NYRR) and business woman extraordinaire Ivanka Trump was no slouch.

Finishing in 2:11:03. Ivanka said: “I started training alongside my team six months ago,” says Trump. “I could barely run a half mile. When you think about it, running tends to be a metaphor for life. Like many things, you get out of it what you put into it. Crossing the finish line, alongside my sister-in-law Nikki and with my entire team, was the most incredible high. It was a fantastic experience.”

Always taking care of herself, I saw the busy and accomplished mom of three at Oscar Blandi salon getting her hair done the Friday before.

Natalie Morales and Erica Hill of NBC’s TODAY hosted the event—one of the largest women’s-only half marathons—and ran the 13.1-mile race alongside their “Run for TODAY” team of staff, family, friends and honorary guests.

Also there, Olympian Deena Kastor, who took first place at the event for the third consecutive year.
