The New York Center for Children (NYCC) hosted its 20th Anniversary Spring Cocktail Reception at Bar at Clement at the Peninsula Hotel and Sofia Vergara‘s ex was front and center.

Not ready to let go of Sofia or the frozen female embryos they made together years ago, the 39-year old single son of a wealthy family, filed a lawsuit claiming he wants to bring “his daughters to term.”

Of course, he says he doesn’t expect any “financial responsibilities or obligations” from the successful actress who has moved on and engaged to marry actor Joe Manganiello, but would “give her the opportunity to be involved with the child in the future should she change her mind.”

Either way, he’s putting himself in a position to be in her life forever.

With over 130 supporters gathered at the Bar Clement for cocktails & Hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction to benefit the charity, the event raised money in support of the organization’s mission to support victims of child abuse and their families with anything they might need.

Besides Loeb putting his best foot forward with Board Member, New York Center for Children’s Lauren Vernon, and social maven Nicole Dicocco, other guests included: Kathleen Turner, Kevin Ryan (Chairman, New York Center for Children), Dr. Kathie Grimm (Medical Director, New York Center for Children), Michele Herbert (Board Member, New York Center for Children), Lyn Paulsin (Former Board Member), Christine Rales (Board Member, New York Center for Children), Heidi Mitchell (Board Member, New York Center for Children), Sophie Ann Terrisse (Board Member, New York Center for Children), Dr. Beth Worley (Board Member, New York Center for Children), Dr. Annie Sparrow (Board Member, New York Center for Children), Leane Romeo (Former Board Member, New York Center for Children), Christine Crowther (Administrative Director, New York Center for Children), Jessica Lapin (Former New York Councilmember), Jean Shafiroff (Philanthropist), and Vanessa Von Bismarck (BPCM PR).
