High-powered legal eagles Arthur Aidala and Marianne Bertuna welcomed the Honorable Barry Kamins to their new company; Aidala, Bertuna & Kamins with a party last week at the NYC Bar Association.
Fox News anchors Shepard Smith, Megyn Kelly and Kimberly Guilfoyle were in attendance, as well as celeb lawyer Benjamin Brafman, and Novitas US CEO Nicole Noonan.
Arthur took to the stage to thank Barry Kamins. As Arthur spoke underneath a large oil painting of Kamins from when he was President of the NYCBA, he joked that he only wished he ‘ had worked with him earlier.’
He then went on to welcome his new partners, associate and of counsel attorneys, including Jennifer Cassandra, Mark J. Cippola, Paul D’Emilia, Esq, Dominick Gullo, Michael Jaccarino Esq., Ottavio V. Mannarino Esq, Mike Cibella and Peter Thomas. Arthur Aidala then took a moment to thank Alan Dershowitz, who Arthur said had become part of the family and viewed him as almost a second dad.
Barry then expressed his joy at joining forces with such a talented group, and joked that Arthur was joining a reality show called ‘Real Housewives of Borough Park.’ The former Judge and former President of the NYC and Brooklyn Bar Associations, was also the Chairman of multiple districts’ Grievance Committees, and will now use his expertise to head up attorney disciplinary matters and criminal defense for his new firms clients.
