New movie ‘The Giver’ premiered Monday night at NY’s famed Ziegfeld Theatre on West 54th Street.
Top stars Meryl Streep and Jeff Bridges were there, as well as most of the cast including Brenton Thwaites, Katie Holmes, Odeya Rush, Taylor Swift and Cameron Monaghan.
The highly anticipated Weinstein Company film which also stars Alexander Skarsgard, is directed by Phillip Noyce and centers around a young man who lives in a seemingly ideal, if colorless, world of conformity and contentment, that is until he meets the giver played by Bridges.
In theatres Friday.
