NY Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz known for his sexy salsa moves upon touchdown, is being recognized by the United Way of NYC with the ‘Hometown Hero’ award.
Joining Cruz, as a player who personifies the National Football League’s commitment to community service is NY Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson.
This annual event marks the only occasion in which the New York Jets and New York Giants huddle together over dinner and break bread for a night of philanthropy and camaraderie.
The 21st Annual Gridiron Gala in support of New York City’s vulnerable young people benefiting the United Way is on Tuesday, May 13 at The Waldorf Astoria.
More than 1,000 business and community leaders and current and former Jets and Giants players and legends will be attendance.
