Thomas-Rhett1That’s what everyone was thinking last Saturday night when country’s newest brought his super sexy southern sound to New York’s intimate Irving Plaza.

Catchy country popster Jon Pardi opened the night but the charming main attraction owned it in his easy going plaid shirt, jeans, boots and cap backwards.

The natural entertainer and darn good songwriter had the crowd going hog wild throughout the night from his popular and profound ‘Beer With Jesus’, groovy ‘Get Me Some Of That’ (which features his gorgeous wife in the video, sorry ladies), and his melodic finale ‘Something To Do With My Hands.’

And just when you thought it couldn’t get more thrilling, the “I can’t believe he’s only 23” country star pulled a devotee on stage to duet Garth Brooks “Friends in Low Places” all while two fanatic girls fought and pulled hair in the crowd.

Country fans rule the roost.

And speaking of fans, he’s all about ’em. Engaging fans with microphone sing-alongs, and crooning a capella showing his vocal range was something to write home about.

No stranger to the music business, the son of country singer/songwriter Rhett Akins, before headlining his own marquee, co-wrote songs for superstar Jason Aldean.

Wow, if I could have a beer with Thomas Rhett, I’d invite Jon Pardi too.
