Apparently some people knew the 36-year old hot Hollywood commodity had been dating the 31-year old three-time Pro Bowl star player since last summer. Wow.
Washington’s most high-profile relationship was with fiancé David Moscow (little Tom Hanks in Big!) in 2007 after several years together. Since then, however, the New York-born actress has kept her private life increasingly on the down-low as her star has steadily risen.
Washington’s parents, Earl and Valerie, signed the marriage certificate as witnesses, and minister Chisaraukwu Asomugha of Silver Spring, Md., officiated.
This is the first marriage for Washington, 36, who rose to mega-stardom over the past year thanks to her breakout roles playing not-to-be-messed-with political fixer Olivia Pope on ABC’s Scandal and JamieFoxx‘s enslaved wife Broomhilda von Shaft in Django Unchained.
