Anyone who tuned into the X Factor this past season could see that Britney Spears was far from impressive. Funny faces, trite responses and a boring presence surely didn’t make me look forward to the weekly show.
Mind you, I am a huge Britney fan but for $15 million, Britney came to the table empty handed and unprepared.
The first year of X Factor saw the firing of Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Cole and now L.A. Reid announced his exit. Safe to say, Simon hasn’t found the winning formula.
Personally, I don’t think Brit was ready to showcase herself after her last few years of crazy but Simon Cowell, looking for ratings and a big name to push after leaving American Idol, was hoping Brit was up to the gig and would impress. She didn’t, so word now comes that big boss Simon may be axing the one time super, superstar.
With LA Reid leaving, and the jury out on whether Simon wants another go around of unfunny banter with young Demi Lovato, who knows what’s to come.
