Accomplished talent Alan Cumming who amazingly plays it very straight as attorney Eli Gold on CBS hit ‘The Good Wife’, brought his campy cabaret act to XL Nightclub over the weekend for an intimate show that benefited the International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission.

The Tony winner took to the stage for a friendly and cozy evening with his constant composer/lyricist Lance Horne, and jazz instrumentalist  Meta Weiss and entertained the eager crowd with funny shtick and songs.

Dressed in a cute tuxedo t-shirt and lean yoga body, 47 year-old Cumming who often mistakenly gets called Alan “Cummings”, sang  “I Won’t Send Roses” from the musical “Mack & Mabel”, a medley from “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”, of course “Cabaret” and more.

Was a perfect night full of fun and fierce frank political talk from the straightforward married “party boy” who sings, writes, acts, directs and produces all in a days work.

He’s even recorded with Liza Minnelli.

We love us some Alan. Keep it cumming.
