Everyone I spoke to seems to agree that one of the highlights of Madonna’s Super Bowl Half Time show was her song ‘Like A Prayer’ with Cee Lo Green. So I was wondering what they thought of her other co-performer M.I.A’s finger flipping malfunction and whether or not NBC or the NFL should be held accountable.

Considering it’s a family friendly show and everyone of all ages is watching, I thought I would get the point of view from a 20 year old  entrepreneur and college student Adylia-Rhenee Gutierrez, CEO of Yhorlife.com.

“The NFL or NBC should be held accountable for M.I.A’s actions. The reason for this is because if you know a performer is more vulgar in their performance then you shouldn’t hire them especially when you know people of all ages will be watching such an important game.

The trend right now is that the Americans are becoming more conservative, evidence by the type of commercials this year especially the Clint Eastwood commercial.

Knowing the trend NBC shouldn’t have hired M.I.A since she is a more vulgar performer. Ultimately, it comes down to knowing your audience. M.IA.’s performance would’ve been fine at an event like Coachella, but at the Super Bowl where the world is watching is not appropriate. This year is about celebrating morals, values, and hard-work; not continuing the celebration of vulgarity and bad behavior.”

Madonna was seen leaving the Super Bowl with her two youngest David & Mercy. Wonder what they thought.
