Olympic skaters, Johnny Weir and Sasha Cohen took to the ice last Wednesday at Andre Balazs’ (pictured) Standard Hotel’s ice rink for a memorable performance.Weir and Cohen performed a special choreographed routine to Glee’s mash-up of Adele’s “Rumor Has It and Someone Like You” in celebration of Veuve Clicquot’s A Midwinter Night’s Skate Party.
The ice rink at The Standard, New York is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 12PM–12AM, Friday from 12PM–1AM, Saturday from 9AM–1AM, and Sunday from 9AM–12PM.
General admissions tickets ($12) and skate rentals ($3) may be purchased from the Skatehaus with lessons available for $25 per half hour.
Guests are also welcome enjoy hot seasonal drinks and delights from the Après Skate menu at the rink.
