The show co-hosted by ‘Today’s’ Al Roker and ‘Today’s newest and coolest edition Savannah Guthrie, who’s bringing her mom and sister into town for the big Tree Lighting event said,
“I am so excited to be part of this event. I am a huge fan of the holidays and one of the memories I have always treasured is every year going to pick out the Christmas tree. To be able to be part of the lighting of this extremely enormous Christmas tree, is one that far surpasses even my childish imaginations.”
“It’s just amazing. You know I work with Al Roker every day. We have a great time together and I think we just are looking forward to the night and ringing in the holidays. And I know we have these great performances so I’m just honored to be a part of it.”
And which performance is Savannah most excited to see?
“Well, obviously I am a huge Javier Colon fan. I would have to say Justin Bieber. I mean that’s just embarrassing for someone my age? But I think he will be really exciting.”
