Let the TV games begin. Judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and LA Reid along with presenter Steve Jones who is apparently drop-dead gorgeous get ready to rumble in their new promo shot for Fox’ talent show ‘X Factor’ premiering September 21st. Now word on the street is that Mariah Carey, who Cowell wanted from the beginning, has had enough time playing mommy and wants in. Simon said, “She wanted to be involved in the show from day one… and you can’t say no to Mariah. “We have to find a role for her. I’m a huge fan of hers – not just as an artist, but as a person, and I love her to death.”
Carey had to drop out of plans to become a judge on the show because of her pregnancy. Cowell can’t wait to add Carey to the mix. He adds, “We just can’t shut Paula and Nicole up. Add Mariah into the mix as well and you won’t even have anyone singing.”
This line-up should definitely give American Idol a run for its money.
