Actress and Television Personality La La Anthony can now add shoe designer to her resume. The wife of NY Knickerbocker Carmelo Anthony, who has certainly seen her share of fashion as host of numerous MTV and VH1 shows, is the latest member of it’s popular ShoeDazzle “Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity,” and the results are a slam-dunk.

Anthony designed a unique, high-heeled, faux-snakeskin bootie with black elastic detail, which she aptly named “Ooh La La.”  100% of profits from the sale of the shoe will benefit one of her favorite charities, Community’s Child, a non-profit organization committed to providing homeless mothers with safe, structured, yet compassionate living environments (http://www.communityschild.org/). The bootie will be available on August 12th, exclusively in ShoeDazzle showrooms.

“I’ve always been a shoe-lover and am so excited to have the opportunity to work with ShoeDazzle and design ‘Ooh La La,’” Anthony said. “Community’s Child is a great organization, and I love that ShoeDazzle members can support a worthy cause while looking fabulous this fall.”

In addition to designing the “Ooh La La” bootie for ShoeDazzle, La La can soon be seen in VH1’s highly anticipated show, “La La’s Full Court Life” beginning August 22nd.  She is also currently filming “Think Like a Man,” a new feature film based on the popular book by Steve Harvey, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man! In October she will be starring in the Off Broadway production of “Love Loss and What I Wore.”
