Women need to stick together and help each other prosper so what better way than to gather a whole bunch of successful, influential and stimulating women from all walks of life for a two-day symposium to empower and inspire. This is WIE Symposium taking place next month on September 18 -19 in New York City.

“Women, Inspiration, Enterprise” is a collection of women coming together to share our ideas, our experiences and above all our passionate determination to make change happen, helping each other grow and thrive in a better and safer world. This event is timed to coincide with the gathering of world leaders during the UN General Assembly.”

Power women expected include: Nicole Kidman, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Serena Williams, Rita Wilson, Jane Fonda, Christy Turlington Burns, Glenda Bailey, Rose Byrne, Petra Nemcova, Tamara Mellon, Fran Drescher,  Rosario Dawson, Mika Brzezinski, Deborra Lee Furness, Van Jones, Victoria Jackson and many more.

Said Donna Karan, “I am joining Sarah and Arianna in co-hosting the 2nd annual WIE because, like them, I know that we can and must connect and be creative in order to change the paradigm. And I am convinced that now is the moment to join with people from around the world to reverse the long neglect of women and their children.”

All proceeds from WIE will go to support the work of the White Ribbon Alliance and Urban Zen.
