Moms and dad’s looking for an activity for the kids this weekend should look no further and grab a few seats at the nearest movie theatre and see The Smurfs in 3D. The film takes places in NYC where the lovable mini-blue gnomes end up in Central Park after being forced through a portal to our world. Our favorite creatures must then find their way home. Besides the amazing animated Smurf voices of Jonathan Winters, Katy Perry, Alan Cumming, Fred Armisen, Paul Reubens, and George Lopez, the film’s stars Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays, Sofia Vergara and the always charming Neil Patrick Harris bring it home.
