Right off the heels of her Oscar nomination for her dramatic role in ‘Blue Valentine’ co-starring Ryan Gosling, Michelle Williams now stars in the upcoming western ‘Meek’s Cutoff’ with Will Paton and Bruce Greenwood which follows the story of a group of families lost along the Oregon Trail in 1845 under the guidance of a lackluster mountain man. The period piece that would be better if the talented Williams had more lines, reunites her with her ‘Wendy and Lucy’ director Kelly Reichardt. ‘Meeks Cutoff’ opens Friday, April 8 and co-stars Zoe Kazan, Paul Dano, Shirley Henderson, Neal Huff, Tommy Nelson and Rod Rondeaux.
