‘The Paul Reiser Show,’ a new single camera comedy from the Emmy & Globe nominated actor/writer/producer, will make its debut Thursday, April 14 in the much coveted high-ratings spot on Thursday evenings. The show which will have Reiser enjoying the quiet life at home surrounded by his wife, kids and friends only to start questioning the meaning of life, (sounds like his real life) will take the place of ‘Perfect Couples’ which hasn’t really been able to connect with audiences. This will be the first of several mid-season series ordered but not scheduled by NBC’s previous regime to get slotted under new network chief Rob Greenblatt. Comedies waiting to be scheduled are ‘Love Bites’ and ‘Friends with Benefits’ and any other series looking for a fall schedule spot better pray because work horses ‘Community,’ ‘The Office,’ ‘30 Rock’ and ‘Parks and Recreation’ have all been renewed.
