As we all know the day of the record store is over. Years ago, there were record stores big and small scattered all around town and you could peruse the aisles for hours looking for music of all genres until you were blue in the face. Now, the internet has since changed all that and you buy your music online and it appears magically while sitting on your couch, eating a burger and watching ‘Idol.’ Things have changed so much that the only public places that sell music are Target, Starbucks, bookstores and a few other non- music stores I can’t think of right now. So where does music business’s next generation of superstar go to get the word out about her amazing new sophomore studio album ‘I Remember Me’? Well she goes to Target of course, does a partnership with them and has them ship boatloads of ‘Jennifer Hudson Deluxe Edition: I Remember Me’ containing four additional tunes and bonus video straight to every Target in the country. So, for those that miss public music shopping go to Target. The rest can be comfy on the couch, type in Target.com and have it delivered pronto.
