E! Entertainment just told us that their queen of talk and very funny comic Chelsea Handler will be playing her own big sister in a new NBC pilot based on her autobiography ‘Are You There Vodka? It’s Me Chelsea.’ Laura Prepon of Fox’s long running ‘That 70’s Show’ has been cast to play Chelsea Handler and filming starts in a couple of weeks. Prepon told E! News, “I hope NBC gets behind it. There’s a lot of buzz. It’s different and edgy. I’m from Jersey,” says Prepon. “Chelsea and I are similar, so it’s perfect we play sisters. It’s funny, because her vodka is my favorite vodka too.” “We both drink the same thing!” We’ll have to wait and see if NBC picks it up and hopefully it’ll work out because Handler needs to be on prime time. And maybe they can cast Sarah Silverman too.
