Blue Ribbon Restaurant Group, which opened its first restaurant in 1992 in NY’s trendy Soho area, and focused on classic American food, has grown to become one amazing boutique turned empire restaurant group with 9 diverse restaurants in the New York area. And now they are about to get even bigger. Started by Chef and owner brothers Bruce and Eric Bromberg, they are being called upon by Marriott Hotel Group to open the first of what should be nineteen restaurants around the country that they’ll do for the mega hotel chain. They will first open R Lounge in the Renaissance Hotel in NYC’s busy Times Square area on September 13th and offer classics like grilled cheese panini, smoked salmon toast, fried chicken wings, fried rock shrimp and pulled pork sandwiches.
